During the summer of 2003, two couples had similar dreams.
Long time Executive Chef, Shawn Monday, and his wife Tiffany wished to one day open a restaurant of their own. Kurt and Cindy Nygaard of Hudson, Ohio wanted to take their appreciation of fine food and wine to the next level, owning a restaurant.
The two couples blended their culinary and business experiences together to make Downtown 140, their dream, come to fruition.
Downtown 140 provides mouth watering Smallest, Small and Not So Small Plates paired with an award winning wine list and a warm environment that make guests feel at home.
